With nearly four decades of experience, she has been instrumental in developing strategies to mitigate the ecological impacts of light pollution. Dr. Pendoley has served on the board of the International Dark-Sky Association and is a founding director of the Australasian Dark Sky Alliance. Her work has significantly contributed to the advancement of light pollution guidelines and conservation efforts both nationally and internationally.
