As a volunteer-led charity, we provide general advice whenever we can – and offer expert consulting for more detailed needs. Our services include site-specific lighting reviews, guidance on standards, support for dark sky designations, and tailored training programs.
These specialised services attract a fee, which helps us cover the time and resources needed to preserve the night and support the wellbeing of our dedicated team.
Beyond consulting, we organise conferences, run community outreach activities, support researchers, and amplify the voices of those championing dark sky initiatives. We develop educational programs, assist with advocacy and policy, promote citizen science projects, build partnerships, create accessible resources, engage with media, and host events to inspire and connect communities.
